This policy explains what information BMA Construction collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. BMA Construction is a licensed general building contractor (CSLB License #1041185) based in El Cajon, California.
Information we collect
Most of what we hold is information you give us directly. That means:
- Your name, phone number, and email address when you submit a quote request on this site, call us, or email us.
- Details you choose to share about your project, such as scope, timeline, and the city the work is in.
- Information you provide during the course of a job, such as a service address and billing details.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as a normal part of serving the website.
Advertising and analytics
This website uses the Meta pixel, a piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). It runs automatically when you visit and reports to Meta that a browser loaded a page here, along with the technical details a browser normally sends, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and the page URL. If you submit the estimate request form, it also reports that a form was submitted. It does not send Meta the name, phone number, email address, or project details you typed.
We use this to measure whether our ads are working and to show ads to people who have visited this site. Meta uses the data under its own terms, not ours. You can review and change what Meta does with your off-Facebook activity in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and most browsers let you block this kind of code outright.
This website also uses Google Analytics 4, a measurement service from Google LLC, under the measurement ID G-7YFW9ZZP8L. It runs automatically when you visit and records which pages you view and how you interact with them, such as clicking a phone number or an email link, along with the technical details a browser normally sends, such as device type, browser, operating system, screen size, and the site that referred you. Google also derives an approximate location from your IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies stored in your browser so a return visit can be recognized as the same browser. This information is sent to Google and processed by Google under its own terms.
We use it to see how many people visit the site and which pages and services they look at. We do not use it to identify you personally, and the name, phone number, email address, and project details you type into a form are not sent to Google Analytics.
You can opt out of Google Analytics in either of two ways: block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
This website also includes a chat widget provided by LeadConnector, part of the customer management platform we use. If you open the chat and send a message, that message and any contact details you enter are transmitted to and stored in that platform so we can reply to you.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry, quote and schedule work, communicate with you about a job in progress, send invoices and receipts, and follow up afterward. If you have opted in, we may also send occasional messages about our services.
SMS Communications
BMA Construction uses SMS messaging to communicate with customers about construction and remodeling services. Phone numbers collected through our intake forms, by phone call, or at the time of service are used only to send service-related communications (appointment confirmations, arrival notices, project updates, review requests, invoice reminders) and, where you have opted in, promotional offers related to our construction services.
We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers or SMS consent with any third party for marketing purposes. Mobile information and consent will not be shared for any reason other than to deliver the messages you agreed to receive.

Who we share information with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where it is necessary to do the work or run the business: with subcontractors and suppliers assigned to your project, and with the service providers that run our phone, messaging, scheduling, and payment systems. Those providers may only use it to deliver that service to us. We will also disclose information where the law requires it. Separately, as described under Advertising and analytics above, Meta receives website visit data through the Meta pixel and uses it under its own terms.
How long we keep it
We keep project and customer records for as long as we need them for the job, our warranty obligations, and our legal and tax requirements.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of emails using the unsubscribe link. To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request that we delete it, contact us using the details below. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, to delete, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We do share website visit data with Meta for advertising, as described under Advertising and analytics above. You can stop that by blocking the pixel in your browser or by adjusting your off-Facebook activity settings in Facebook or Instagram, and you can contact us using the details below with any request about your information.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
